Nyssa and Alex are a brother/sister duo that plays acoustic pop and French music. They have a chilled and relaxed style with the cello giving a unique sound, playing both bass and melodic lines. Nyssa’s voice is delightfully pure and unaffected and their harmonies float reminiscently like Simon and Garfunkel. Their influences include Ed Sheeran and Gabrielle Aplin.
Nyssa plays guitar, violin and sings melody and her brother Alex plays cello and sings harmony. They started playing professionally in 2013 after winning $1000 for first place in a busking competition in Moss Vale. They play regularly at weddings, restaurants, festivals and markets. They have their CD’s “Joie de Vivre”, Covers and their original album Seasons available at markets and on iTunes.
They have had many achievements in the last few years. They have played live for ABC Radio, reached over one million views on YouTube, and sung the National Anthem for a final of beach soccer (Australia versus Thailand) in Wollongong which was filmed by SBS. Nyssa's French cover of ‘Andalouse’ by Kendji reached over one million views and various producers quickly contacted her to participate in ‘The Voice’ in France. The French pop star Tal also tweeted about one of their covers and Nyssa and Alex have now reached a large following in France.
They have played at the exclusive wedding of league star Sam Burgess in Bowral, and at a function for Skye Leckie.
Their beautiful acoustic sound adds a touch of class which has made them sought after for exclusive functions and weddings at venues all around the Southern Highlands and Illawarra regions, including Centennial Vineyards, Biota and Milton Park in Bowral, Bendooley Estate and E2 Events for Eschalot in Berrima, Mali Brae Farm in Moss Vale, Summerlees Sutton Forest, Mountain Ridge Winery in Coolangatta and many more.
They can also be heard performing regularly at markets in Bowral, Kiama and Wollongong.

Harrison is a local musician in the Southern Highlands that performs a wide variety of popular music in an easy-listening, acoustic style. He sings and plays the guitar and has recently started writing his own original music.

Emerging from the southern highlands of NSW, Alex McIntyre shook off her country shackles and made a name for herself amongst Sydney’s music scene with her unique brand of dogmatic indie-dream Pop. She is a multi-instrumentalist with a degree in guitar, a love for synth, and melancholic intense vocal style that will draw you in with the first word. Alex’s sophomore single explores a new pallet of sounds & sees her sound transform. After growing up listening to Joy Division, The Cure and Zeppelin, she made her way to her current influences which include Maggie Rogers, Broods, Wolf Alice, MØ,. Alex has been working in the studio with producer Joel Quartermaine (Eskimo Joe, Meg Mac). Dylan Wright and Jayme Weston make up an acoustic duo, based on the South Coast of New South Wales. The pair have been friends since 2017 and in 2022 they began playing together at various establishments in the Illawarra and Southern Highlands. Since April, they have played 50 gigs.
